This Privacy Policy explains how CertiQ (“CertiQ”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the CertiQ mobile app and this website (together, the “Service”). CertiQ is a study app for Snowflake SnowPro certification exams. We aim to collect as little personal data as possible.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive an authentication identifier and, if you choose to share it, your email address. You may also use the app anonymously, in which case only an anonymous identifier is created.
• Study data. Your progress, bookmarks, notes, exam history, streaks, and settings. This is stored on your device and, only if you are signed in, synced to our cloud so you can use it across devices.
• Purchase information. When you buy a certification or All Access, the transaction is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive your purchase and entitlement status (what you own) but never your credit card or payment details.
• Basic technical data. Standard information such as app version and device type may be processed by our providers to keep the Service running and secure.

We do not sell your personal data, and CertiQ does not show third-party advertising.

How we use information

• To provide and maintain the Service.
• To sync your study progress across your devices when signed in.
• To manage your purchases and unlock the content you own.
• To respond to your support requests.
• To keep the Service secure and fix problems.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers:

• Google Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication and cloud sync of your study data.
• RevenueCat — managing in-app purchase entitlements.
• Apple App Store and Google Play — app distribution and payment processing.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security practices.

Contacting us

Our website contact option opens your own email app addressed to us; we do not run a server-side contact form, so a message reaches us only when you choose to send it. When you email us, we use your message and email address solely to respond.

Data retention and deletion

Study data stays on your device until you delete the app or clear it. Synced data is kept while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated cloud data at any time by emailing us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

Children

CertiQ is intended for people preparing for professional certifications and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
