Delete your CertiQ account
Last updated: August 9, 2026
This page applies to CertiQ - SnowPro Core Prep (Android package: com.ryosuke.snowprocore) and CertiQ for Databricks (Android package: com.ryosuke.certiq.databricks), published on Google Play by Ryosuke Yokota.
Deleting the account is permanent and affects every CertiQ app connected to the same shared account.
Request account deletion
Use the email link below to request deletion. You do not need to sign in to this website or reinstall the mobile app.
When possible, send the request from the email address connected to your CertiQ account. We may request limited information to verify account ownership. Never send a password, sign-in code, or full purchase receipt.
We will verify the request, normally complete deletion within 30 days, and confirm completion by email.
Delete selected data without deleting your account
You can also request deletion of selected synced study data while keeping your CertiQ account. Tell us which data to delete, such as progress, answers, bookmarks, notes, streaks, settings, or exam history. After verification, we normally complete the request within 30 days.
Purchase and entitlement records needed to restore content you own are not removed by a data-only request.
Delete from the mobile app
If you still have access to the app, you can request deletion from the app:
- Open CertiQ - SnowPro Core Prep or CertiQ for Databricks.
- Open Settings and scroll to the Account section.
- Select Delete Account, confirm, and sign in again if requested.
Data deleted with your account
After the request is verified, CertiQ deletes the account and the account-linked data under our control, including:
- Your Firebase Authentication account and CertiQ user identifier.
- Synced study progress, answers, bookmarks, notes, streaks, settings, and exam history stored in Cloud Firestore.
- The RevenueCat customer profile linked to your CertiQ user identifier.
- Other user-owned records stored under the same shared CertiQ account in known CertiQ collections.
Data stored only on your device cannot be removed remotely. Delete the app or clear its local storage after the cloud account has been deleted.
Data that may be retained
Account deletion does not require canceling a subscription because current CertiQ purchases are one-time purchases. Deletion does not issue a refund or remove purchase records held by an app store. CertiQ does not retain other account-linked records after deletion except as stated below:
- Transaction, refund, and fraud-prevention records held by Google Play or Apple under their own policies and legal obligations.
- Limited support correspondence and the deletion-request record for up to 90 days after completion, then deleted unless a longer period is legally required.
- Records subject to a legal hold or other mandatory retention requirement only for the period required by applicable law.
- Aggregated or de-identified analytics that no longer identifies or can reasonably be linked to your account may be retained indefinitely.
For more information, read the CertiQ Privacy Policy.
