These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the CertiQ mobile app and this website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

CertiQ provides practice questions, mock exams, and explanations to help you prepare for supported professional certification exams. CertiQ may provide vendor-specific mobile applications together with a shared web platform and account system. The Service is a study aid only and is not a substitute for the applicable certification provider’s current official documentation. We do not guarantee that you will pass any exam. Exam objectives, content, formats, pricing, and requirements are controlled by their respective providers and may change at any time.

Independent service and third-party trademarks

CertiQ is an independent study service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the certification providers covered by the Service. Snowflake, SnowPro, Databricks, and other company, product, certification, and exam names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify the relevant certification subject.

Accounts

The mobile app may create an anonymous account so that study data can be saved and synced. You may connect an Apple or Google account to use supported features across devices and on the website. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your connected account and for activity that occurs under it. You can delete your CertiQ account from Settings.

Purchases

CertiQ may offer one-time purchases for a single certification or a bundle such as All Access. The certifications included in a purchase are the ones shown in the relevant app and storefront at the time of purchase. An All Access purchase is scoped to that vendor-specific app unless the purchase screen expressly states otherwise; it does not automatically unlock a separate CertiQ app. Current offers are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Any future subscription would be clearly identified before purchase. Purchases are processed and billed by Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to the store’s terms. Restoration and refunds are handled under the applicable store policy.

License and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Service for your own exam preparation. You agree not to:

• copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly share the questions, explanations, or other content;
• scrape, extract, or bulk-download content from the Service;
• reverse engineer or attempt to bypass access controls or purchase restrictions;
• use the Service in any unlawful way or to infringe others’ rights.

Intellectual property

Except for third-party names, trademarks, official materials, and reference links identified in the Service, the CertiQ software, design, and independently created study content are owned by CertiQ and protected by applicable laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. No license to a certification provider’s trademarks is granted by these Terms.

Third-party services and links

The Service relies on third-party platforms for authentication, cloud storage, analytics, hosting, app distribution, and purchases, and may link to official documentation or other external websites. Their availability, content, and handling of your information are governed by their own terms and policies.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the content is complete, accurate, or up to date, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CertiQ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including exam results.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
